Ninja Gaiden 4 Story Length has finally been confirmed, and fans now have a clearer idea of how long they’ll be battling their way through the story. But here’s the good news: once you finish the main campaign, the real challenge is just getting started.
In a fresh trailer and interview with Next-Play, game director Masako Hirayama revealed that your first playthrough will take around 15–20 hours. That’s just for the story. Beat it once, and you’ll unlock the brutal Master Ninja difficulty — perfect for those who think they’ve mastered the art of the blade.
And that’s not all. The game also packs in Challenge Missions, Chapter Challenges, and a secretive extra mode called Purgatory — a hidden battle arena tucked away in each chapter, similar to the series’ old-school tests of courage.
