Available Today: Little Nightmares II & Rise of the Tomb Raider
Microsoft kicked things off with a bang by shadow-dropping two incredible titles.
First up, you can return to a world of charming horror with Little Nightmares II. You’ll play as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world twisted by a humming, distant tower. It’s a masterful suspense-adventure game that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Also making a welcome return to the library is Rise of the Tomb Raider. If you missed it the first time, now’s your chance to join Lara Croft on her first real tomb-raiding expedition. It’s a cinematic survival adventure packed with high-octane action set in some of the most beautifully hostile environments ever created.
What’s Coming Soon in the Game Pass July 2025 Lineup?
The magic trick is about to happen—these “coming soon” games will be “available today” before you know it. Here’s the schedule for the first half of the Game Pass July 2025 drop.
- Legend of Mana (Console) – July 2: Set off on a journey to find the mystical Mana Tree in this remastered classic. It features a rearranged soundtrack, graphical improvements, and a colorful cast of characters.
- Trials of Mana (Console) – July 2: The 3D remake of the classic RPG is here! Experience the beloved adventure with modern graphics, voiceovers, a remastered soundtrack, and a revamped ability system.
- Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 3: Get ready to ruin some friendships! This party platformer has you and your friends building the level as you play, placing deadly traps before trying to make it to the end.
- The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 8: This stellar solo and co-op action-shooter RPG returns to Game Pass! Set in a gritty cyberpunk world, you have to survive after the collapse of the mega-corporation that owns everyone.
- Minami Lane (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 9: Need to chill? Build and manage your own tiny, cozy street in this wholesome management sim set in a Japanese-inspired world.
- High On Life (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 15: It’s back! The hilarious shooter from Squanch Games returns. Team up with charismatic, talking guns to save humanity from an alien cartel that wants to use people as drugs.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Grinds into Game Pass July 2025
This is the one we’ve all been waiting for. Dropping day one on Game Pass July 2025 is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on July 11.
Everything you loved about the originals is back, but totally revamped with more skaters, new parks, and gnarlier tricks. Plus, if you grab the Deluxe Edition Upgrade, you can get 3-day early access starting July 8, which includes the Doom Slayer and The Revenant as playable skaters.
