You already saw the GTA 6 Trailer 2, now it’s time to talk about the game’s characters, locations, and everything else. Rockstar has revealed short character stories and even many new locations on their website. This suggests that GTA 6 might have not just one, but three or four cities. And besides Jason and Lucia, there will be many interesting characters. Even the story of GTA 6 is now somewhat clear – who are Jason and Lucia? Where did they come from? What is their story?
GTA 6: Map & Location Details
Let’s start with all the locations and map details that have been officially confirmed in the trailer screenshots or clips. With the help of screenshots, we now have confirmation that there will be at least six major areas, including some cities, ports, and mountains.
1. Leonida Keys
The first scene of the trailer, showing Jason’s house, is in a place called Leonida Keys. This is inspired by the real-life Florida Keys. There are two reasons for calling it “inspired.” First, their appearance, and second, their wildlife. In the very first scene, we can zoom in and see two species that are also found in the Florida Keys: an iguana and a raccoon. But Rockstar’s official page describes it as a city where luxury is abundant. So, pull out your chair, lean back, and enjoy the cool breeze with a cold beer.
2. Grass Rivers
Then comes the Grass Rivers, which is inspired by the real-life Everglades. Here, we will see many alligators, their hunting, poaching, and drug smuggling. This place is definitely not safe from any angle. Even Rockstar’s page describes it as a very deadly location where alligators are not the only predators.
3. Ambrosia
The next city or location is called Ambrosia, which is said to be “The Heart of Leonida.” This means it will be right in the center, and no single person can rule here because it’s an industrial area, and allied workers and biker gangs roam around. Controlling them will be impossible. But whoever manages to do it, the doors to health and wealth will open for them.
4. Port Gellhorn
The next location’s name was already known from leaks and Trailer One, but now screenshots and scenes from Trailer Two have also surfaced. Yes, I’m talking about Port Gellhorn. Looking at the screenshots, it seems like all the B-grade activities in the world happen here, from strip clubs to drugs and criminals.
5. Mount Churla National Park
Connected to this is our next location, Mount Komoda National Park. This is a national park plus a mountain, like Mount Chiliad in GTA5. But the difference is that after RDR2, Rockstar’s wildlife expertise is visible here and looks next level. We will see many types of species here, and according to the description, there are also off-roading trails present, which was also referenced in Trailer One.
6. Vice City (OG City)
And the final location is our OG Vice City. It is expected that a large part of the story will be based here as well, because it is the most high-profile and wealthy area on the map, where clubs, luxury cars, graffiti, and dreams come true. So, to make a name for themselves or to escape, Jason and Lucia will finally come to Vice City. Even some locations set in VCT have been highlighted in the trailer, which will probably have significant importance in the story. The first of these is Vice City International Airport, whose sign is visible when Jason goes to pick up Lucia. The second is the 919 Club, where Lucia and Jason’s dancing scenes play out, and its banner was also seen in Trailer One. I’m guessing there will definitely be a major mission set there. And finally comes Tommy Ocean View Hotel. In Trailer One, it was seen from quite a distance, but now we are directly inside it.
Side Activities
Similarly, we have also learned about several in-game side activities that will take world exploration and immersion to the next level.
- Basketball –Taking a reference from the very first scene, there is a basketball hoop at Jason’s house And American movies also show that people install these in their homes for practice. And in this scene, people are directly seen playing. This means basketball as a side activity is definitely in.
- Public transport– Then, trains are seen in two separate scenes. And it can’t be that they are just there for show. We will probably be able to travel with their help.
- Fishing & hunting – Jason’s guy screenshot and the description of Mount Komoda also confirm fishing and hunting.
- Workout – Then, both main characters are seen doing some kind of workout. Like Jason was bench-pressing in the trailer, and Lucia was doing MMA. Lucia even has an image of her boxing.
- Scuba diving & pool –Scuba diving and playing pool have also been confirmed from these two screenshots, as Jason is literally playing pool in one of them.
- Watching TV & playing games – when the animation ad is playing, it shows that we will be able to watch TV and maybe even play games, because a parody of PS5 is next to the TV, and a PS4 controller is on the table. This will definitely be an interesting thing, like how we could play those retro games in San Andreas.
- Dancing – seen as a major highlight in the trailer
- Community service – Lucia doing garbage pickup (parole mission)
- Shopping – groceries, lottery tickets, and… you know what else

- Brian Heider – Jason’s boss; runs shady businesses, owns a private plane and marina.
- Cal Hamton – Comic relief; lazy, unserious but loyal friend of Jason.
- Booby’s Eye – Vice City legend; runs drugs, strip clubs, smuggling, AND a music studio.
- Dracon Priest – Ambitious young gangster/musician; seen multiple times in trailers.
- Real Times (Bellex & Roxy) – Two childhood friends and music artists signed under Booby’s studio.
- Royal Bosta – Experienced bank robber with “Money Heist” vibes; mature and tactical, possibly a fan favorite.
Main Protagonists – Jason & Lucia
Lucia
Tough from childhood, trained by her dad. Lived in Liberty City, but ended up in jail after a major event. Decided to live smart for her mother’s dream of a better life.
Jason
Cool and charming but bipolar – a complex character.
Story Summary
From what we know, Jason wants a peaceful life in Leonida Keys while working for Bryan. Lucia, now out of jail, joins him. They’re unlucky in life, but now together and enjoying time with friends. Things go wrong after a simple heist fails, leading them into a criminal conspiracy. Gangs, feds, and others are after them. Bryan warns them that their names and addresses are compromised, so they flee to Vice City in Bryan’s plane with Cal.
The game’s story will then unfold, centered on trust between Jason and Lucia. Their love and decisions will shape what happens next.
Final Thoughts
