When Does Marvel Rivals Season 2 Start?
Marvel Rivals Season 2, called “Hellfire Gala,” will begin on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 8 AM UTC.

- Denver (MT) – 2 AM
- Chicago (CT) – 3 AM
- New York (EST) – 4 AM

What’s New in Season 2?
Season 2 adds a lot of additional content to the game:
- New Hero: Emma Frost – She joins as a Vanguard character. She can protect her team, stop enemies, and use her powers to control the battle.
- New Hero Later: Ultron – Ultron is added during the mid-season update (called Season 2.5), expected around late May or early June 2025.

- Map Rotation – Some older maps will be taken out of the ranked mode, but you can still play them in casual matches.
- Rank Reset – Everyone’s ranked level will start fresh for Season 2.
- Pick/Ban System – Players ranked gold or higher will now be able to pick and ban characters before matches begin. This adds more strategy to the game!
How Long Will Season 2 Last?
Season 2 is expected to run for about three months and will consist of two parts:
- Part 1: Starts April 11 with Emma Frost and the Krakoa map
- Part 2 (Season 2.5): Starts around late May with Ultron joining the fight
