PUBG Mobile Unbanned in Bangladesh

After nearly four years, PUBG Mobile has finally been unbanned in Bangladesh. Back in 2022, the situation was so tense that a police raid happened during a LAN tournament. Authorities cited negative mental health impacts from games like PUBG and Free Fire. But now gamers can play freely, although many may have moved on in these past years.

Dubai-based Hardbit Game Studios is launching a GTA-style game called Grand Outlaws on April 24 for Android (soft launch in the US only). Popular YouTuber Varun Maya announced his game Unleash: The Etar, initially titled India’s First High-Quality Game. It’s now marketed as India’s First Soulslike, although titles like Winds of Arcana and Rui Nation predate it. The game is set for a Fall 2026 release, and some early gameplay footage shows characters in slum-like environments.


GTA 5 “Natural Vision Evolved” Mod Enhancements

New screenshots from the Natural Vision Evolved mod show stunning visual upgrades. The dev, Razed, announced on Discord that they’ve unlocked a unique lighting feature in GTA5’s ENAH build that adds hyper-realistic shadows. Though no release date is confirmed, the trailer is in development, and yes — the mod will be completely free.


Nvidia RTX 5060 & 5060 Ti Announced

Nvidia has finally announced its RTX 5060 series:

  • RTX 5060 Ti: Starting at $429.99
  • RTX 5060 Base: Launching May 2025 around $379

These GPUs use the new Blackwell architecture and support features like DLSS 4 and Reflex 2. However, there’s criticism for offering only 8GB VRAM, which isn’t future-proof for modern games requiring 12–16GB.


AMD RX 9060 XT GPU Leak

Leaked specs suggest the RX 9060 XT will feature:

  • ~2000 stream processors
  • Boost clock: 3.2 GHz
  • Base clock: 2620 MHz
  • TDP: ~200W
  • Expected variants: 8GB & 16GB VRAM

It might directly compete with Nvidia’s 5060Ti. Interestingly, RX 7900 XT is outselling the RTX 4070 in Europe by a 6x margin.


Minecraft Movie Shatters Records

The Minecraft movie is becoming a juggernaut, now hitting $552 million globally in just a week. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows has become the second best-selling game of 2025 in the U.S., trailing only behind Monster Hunter Wilds. While 3 million units were “shipped” in a week, there’s speculation that this includes Ubisoft+ subscribers and giveaway copies. We might get concrete sales numbers in Ubisoft’s May 14 earnings call.


Marathon: Bungie’s New Extraction Shooter

Bungie revealed gameplay for their upcoming title Marathon, launching September 23 with cross-play and cross-save. However, it won’t feature a traditional campaign — instead, story will unfold through co-op and PvEvP missions. The game will be premium, possibly priced around $30–$40, and will include a battle pass.
