A leaked picture of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition has appeared online, which makes the rumors that there will be an official release next week more believable.
The Zuby_Tech account on X uploaded a picture of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition’s package. The box features the label ‘Meta 3S Xbox Edition’ prominently on the front, with both the Meta and Xbox logos displayed in the bottom right corner.
The device sports an all-black design with a distinctive green ring around the front edge, departing from the standard all-white Meta Quest 3 and giving this edition a distinctly Xbox-inspired look.
There is also an Xbox Wireless Controller in the upper right corner of the box, although it’s not obvious if it’s included with the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition. The headset is expected to launch at $399, featuring 128GB of storage and bundled with a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The insider says that the official announcement of this Xbox-Meta collaboration will happen on June 24.
These leaks surface as Xbox continues to expand into cross-platform hardware, following its recent partnership with ASUS ROG on a handheld device and its confirmed collaboration with AMD on next-generation console development.
